In 2016, Racecar Engineering™ developed the Wheel Man Sportsman Series™ to give racers another choice and alternative series to compete in during the racing season. Working with track owners throughout Central Florida, the Wheel Man Sportsman Series was able to schedule seven (7) races during the inaugural year and crowned Sean Bass as the series champion for 2016. 

The series prides itself in providing participants a very comprehensive contingency award program along with a 'very generous' payout for each race.  In fact, when the series was finished at the end of 2016, the Wheelman Sportsman Series™ had proven to be a complete success and is now considered to be one of the premier asphalt racing series in the state of Florida.

For 2017, the Wheel Man Sportsman Series™ has signed Brandon Ford as its Title Sponsor along with Gagels Auto Parts returning as the series Presenting Sponsor.  The 2017 event schedule has been expanded to include thirteen (13) races and several more companies been added to continue the growth of their contingency award program.
